Web Site Mk1 still available

All the ‘stuff’ is still available from the old Mk1 site. All the contact lists, articles and pictures.

Look at the very top menu bar above and you will see the link to: Old Website – just click that and all the earlier stuff will be available just as before. In due course the contact lists will be cloned over onto the new site, but please don’t hold your breathe waiting. There’s still a lot to do to get version Mk2 up to scratch.

What no NAAFI Wagon?

Doesn’t it look deserted these days? What a difference from yesteryear with swarms of brats foraging for a tea and wad. Not to mention a quick drag. You could always tell the rooks, they were the ones with the clean denims and short haircuts. I reckon senior entry denims in the more oily trades were a walking fire hazard.

A favourite trick in summer when lounging for a few delicious minutes on the grass banks was to use a cigarette to start a small rapidly expanding hole in your neighbour’s oily denims. Ah! Those were the days.
