After reading about Mikes celebrated 64th birthday, and having lost his mother at such a young age, it made me think about my family. I lost my father about 4 mths before his 65th birthday, my mother at the age of 55, my eldest brother at 56 years, and my other brother at 48 years. [...]
This driver’s day wasn’t too good either. After this ‘emergency stop’ at a crossroads in Al Khobar, 1979. He got out and ran away. I stopped and took this picture, then I also ran away. The Saudi police were in the habit of confiscating cameras.

This is us walking round the Auckland Skytower 630 feet up and the whole 360 degree walk which took about half an hour. Wearing our fetching Guantanamo Bay suits.
